Sewing Room Remodel (Odds and ends)

Just to sum up a few of our other features. We collected a lot of our items from friends, for instance my black sewing table was an Ikea model my neighbor was getting rid of. Although it was past it's prime for a dining room table, who cares if a cutting and sewing table has a few marks, I put my cutting mat on it to hide some small slits it had on it's top and also to protect it, we also added large casters to the legs so I can easily move it around and if I have friends over to sew we can put the extensions in to make it longer. 
   Another friend gave me an actual cutting table that folds up, it needs some new casters which I have yet to purchase but I can also pull it out and set it up if I get some major cutting projects going on.
    I was kinda hoping for new office chairs and had my eye on some at Ikea but even the basic ones get pricey when you want more then one so it was going to be a down-the-road thing until we stopped by our local habitat store and they had gotten in a large assortment of office chairs and they were $10 a piece, needless to say we bought 4, And I love they adjust up and down and I can roll from one table to another.
   The faux fireplace was already in this room, in fact I had never seen it moved and thought it was really heavy until Dad moved it out to put the flooring down, it's just hollow on the back side. Just as it was turning cold last fall Aldi came out with their heaters and they had this cool one that looks like a fireplace, I was thrilled when it fit in the space. I clear the area around it before I turn it on as the manufacturer recommends but for summer I can just leave it stored in there out of the way.
   The mirror was also already there but on another wall in the room, I got the thought one night that it might fit there if we tilted it out, it worked and it also allows me to see the back of my work when I'm working on outfits.
   The lamp hanging from the ceiling was also already in that room but hadn't been working and had a very old cord, so Dad went and got a new light kit for it and we put an LED bulb so even though it's still mainly for looks, it also works.
   And finally we added some chairs for people to come out and visit when we are busy working and I had made a beautiful wool southwestern looking blanket a couple of years ago for the fair. It got sent home since It didn't come out square so I had had it in a bag since I didn't want to use it anywhere the dog's are. (They are very possessive of their blankets.) Anyways the dog's are not allowed in the sewing room so I found a place to display it. Thank for touring our new sewing room.
Now it's time for me to get back to sewing.
